SOLUKHUMBU, April 25: A woman has been beaten up to death by her husband on Wednesday. Khadga Bahadur Nepali, 30 of Salleri -6 Khoriya killed his wife Nirmala by repeatedly beating her up with a stick.
Locals informed the police about the incident this morning.
Nepali has been arrested by the District Police Office, Solukhumbu. According to Nepali, a fight between the couple had ensued after Nirmala came back home drunk.
The body of the deceased has been sent to the District Hospital, Phaplu for post-mortem, informed superintendent of police (DSP) Ramesh Khadka.
