  Five hurt, property worth Rs 4m gutted in Panauti fire

BANEPA, April 26: Five people were injured and property worth approximately four million rupees was destroyed by fire that broke out at the house of Dhruba Tamrakar at Namobuddha Road, Panauti Municipality-11 Wednesday night.

A car parked in the garage of the house, a motorcycle, a bicycle shop and household goods were destroyed by the fire, according to the Panauti Police.

Forty-eight years old Ratna Shrestha, Sandesh Shrestha, 22, Anil Shrestha, 24 of Panauti Municipality-11 and Shyam Krishna Prajapati, 23,of Panauti Municipality-7 and Prem Bahadur Mijar, 31, of Panauti Municipality-10 were injured while trying to put out the fire.

Police said they are out of danger.
