PALPA, April 27: One person has died on the spot and as many as 14 others have been injured in a jeep accident at Baudhapokharathok VDC, Jorte of Palpa on Friday morning.
Three among the injured are said to be in serious condition, informed an eye witness Shankar Pandey.
The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 4727) en-route to Darling, Gulmi from Butwal fell 20 meters down from the road.
The jeep driver is absconding following the incident. Locals have rescued the injured and rushed them to Mission Hospital, informed Sanjay Bhattarai, a local resident.
Further details about the incident are not immediately available as police are yet to reach the incident site, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mira Chaudhary.
