DHANGADHI, April 29: Normal life in far-west region has been affected on the third consecutive day, on Sunday due to banda called by people of the far-west demanding not to split far-west region while state restructuring.
Educational institutions, business, transport services have been completely shut down.
Local consumers said they have been hit hard due to the shortage of daily essentials owing to the banda.
People of far-west region have been demonstrating by chanting slogan in favor of the indivisible far-west.
The banda has been called under the leadership of Far-west Ekta Samaj saying the UCPN-Maoist has brought a proposal that aims to split the far-west.
