36 Bangladeshis with forged Nepali passports detained in Kuwait

KATHMANDU, May 1: Airport security detained 36 Bangladeshis for entering Kuwait on forged passports issued by the government of Nepal, Al-Anba daily reported. According to the report, all the detainees, who arrived into the country on different flights,havebeen referred to the public prosecution.
The suspects during the interrogation have admitted to buying the passports from an unidentified person in Nepal.
To prevent ‘unwanted’ people from entering the country, a fingerprint system installed at the airport has proved successful, the daily added.
