  Dozen injured as protestors clash with police  
 

REPUBLICA

POKHARA, May 9: At least a dozen were injured when police resorted to baton charge to disperse protestors taking torch rally against ethnicity-based federalism at Prithivi Chowk, Pokhara on Wednesday evening.

Kaski Police spokesperson Rabindra Paudel said that the police had to use force after protestors pelted stones on them.

Injured police are undergoing treatment at Western Regional Hospital while injured protestors are receiving treatment at Charak Hospital
