  Compensation for families of Babarmahal blast

KATHMANDU, May 15: The government has decided to provide Rs 850,000 as compensation to each bereaved families of Babarmahal bomb blast in February.

A cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday morning took the decision to this effect.

Krishna Bahadur Tamang, Man Bahadur Tamang and Bir Bahadur Lama of Baireni VDC, Dhading, were killed in the blast.

Seven peoples were injured in the blast in front of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) head office at Babarmahal on February 27. The United Ethnic Liberation Front Nepal (UELFN) had claimed responsibility for the blast.
