KATHMANDU, May 20: Nepal Congress (NC) has expressed its deep concerns over the ongoing protests by different groups across the country.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the party has stressed that democratic re-structuring of the state through multi-ethnicity, multi-lingual and multi-culture will only ensure the unity and communal harmony in the country.
“The delineation of the provinces should reflect ethnicity, language, culture and historic identity including economic-physical-administrative capability required for a province,” the statement maintains.
The party further asserts that existing districts should not be disintegrated while restructuring the state.
