JHAPA, May 22: A meeting of editors of Jhapa-based newspapers on Tuesday decided to shut down their publications for two days protesting the attack on press and growing insecurity of the journalists.
Around six journalists were severely beaten and manhandled during a three-day banda called by indigenous communities.
Editors from seven dailies and seven weeklies were present in the meeting.
