  Setting stage for statute promulgation at prez office

KATHMANDU, May 26 : Even as uncertainty over the new constitution looms large, the Office of the President on Saturday made arrangements for a formal ceremony to unveil the new constitution from Shital Niwas.

"We have begun making arrangements for the ceremony," said Rajendra Dahal, president´s press advisor, "We have planned to invite all the Constituent Assembly members, political leaders, head of the constitutional bodies and members of diplomatic community."

According to him, Constituent Assembly Chairman Subas Nembang called on Yadav on Saturday to discuss the procedures to unveil the new constitution.

As per the constitution, all the CA members will sign the new constitution and CA chairman will authenticate the new constitution. The CA wil organize a formal program to hand over the constitution to the president who will unveil it and announce its enforcement.
