  PM to interact with villagers every month

KATHMANDU, June 12: Caretaker Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai will hold interactions with the people in rural areas each month starting Wednesday.

Bhattarai has said he will visit rural areas to learn about the problems of the local people, take their opinions and suggestions regarding the current political situation and economy among other issues.

According to a press statement issued by the prime minister´s office (PMO) on Tuesday, the caretaker prime minister will also hold interactions with political party workers and civil society, among others, at local level.

Bhattarai is scheduled to hold interaction with the people in rural areas of Kathmandu district and spend a night there.

He used to visit his constituency in Gorkha district every month when the Constituent Assembly (CA) was functioning.

Similarly, Bhattarai listens to public grievances every month through a radio program, ´Janata Sanga Pradhanmantri (prime minister with the people)´.
