KATHMANDU, June 13: The newly opened Everest Florida Higher Secondary School located at Shanti Nagar in Kathmandu, collaborating with TechMedia House Pvt. Ltd., organized a press conference on Wednesday, June 13 at its premises. Education experts and media persons were invited to the event. The event was organized to inform about the establishment of the college.
“This college is established by Florida Education Networks, a team formed by highly professional and renowned personalities in the realm of education and is starting its + 2 program in Science, Management and Humanities streams from the upcoming session in its own building” said Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar Jha while informing the press. “The college aims at the production of top students who can greatly contribute to a new nation we have dreamt of,” he added.
Chief Executive Officer of the school Binod Joshi, speaking at the press meet, said, “We prefer quality education with respect to versatility, development of ethical values, social responsibility and positive attitudes. So we launched this institution to provide the above.
“The college is also providing individual career counseling to students under comprehensive guidance of experts and professionals, ” he added.
Most of the speakers at the conference, who are also board directors of the college, spoke about the uniqueness of the college, among others, and promised to provide a concept-based education rather than making students simply memorize with practical-base knowledge-providing facilities, based on information technology.
