PARASI, June 15: Political parties in Nawalparasi district have made commitment not to give tickets to their leaders until they had a toilet at home.
Different political parties in the district have issued a nine-point Nawalparasi Declaration pledging to declare the district open defecation free district by 2071 B.S.

Ram Chandra Kafle, Chief of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Office, Nawalparasi, said that a campaign has been launched with a view to building toilets in each house.

According to Kafle, UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Madhesi Peoples´ RIght Forum-Democratic, Madhesi Peoples´ RIght Forum, Nepal, Tarai Madhes Loktantrika Party and other political parties have expressed commitments to send letters to their party units up to the village level to construct toilets informing their move.
