KATHMANDU, June 16: Premier Lions, the winner of the recently concluded Second Premier Cup 3x3 National Basketball Championship, lifted Saturday the Ruslan Big Bucks 3x3 Open Basketball Tournament as well. Premier registered 21-16 win against GoldenGate College for the title.
Premier was without its key player Sadhish Pradhan but managed to win the title. Paresh Shrestha, Rajiv Joshi, most-valuable-player of the tournament Binod Shrestha and Binod Joshi were in the starting line up for Premier.
Binod Shrestha scored eight points for the winning team. GoldenGate had earlier faced defeat through the same team in the Second Premier Cup 3x3 National Basketball Championship last week.
With the win, Premier bagged Rs 100,000 while GoldenGate received Rs 50,000. South Siders finished in the third position and bagged Rs 25,000. MVP Shrestha got Rs 25,000.
