REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU, June 17: Price of gold, which scaled to an all time high of Rs 57,250 per tola (11.664 grams) in the domestic market on Thursday and Friday, came down by Rs 50 per tola on Sunday.

Officials of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (Negosida) said they revised gold prices in line with the prices in international bullion market.

“We adjusted prices of gold as per the price in the international market. Though international market remains closed on Sunday, the prices of yellow metal slightly went down during Saturday´s trading. We have revised the prices accordingly," said Tej Ratna Shakya, president of Negosida.
