PYUTHAN, June 18: Two children died in flash floods triggered by heavy rainfall here since Sunday afternoon.
Ten-year-old Keshari Khadka of Liwang-5 and 12-year-old Chet Bahadur Gharti of Bijayanagar-7 died after they were swept away by flash flood in a local stream.
The thundershower that continued until late in the night on Sunday also triggered landslides at over 18 places in the district, disrupting transport services to most places in the district.
