  Bhrikutimandap tense over civil servants protest

KATHMANDU, June 21: Police on Thursday padlocked Bhrikutimandap-based civil servants office affiliated to Maoist party to prevent the untoward incidents.

Civil servants affiliated to UCPN (Maoist) and CPN, Maoist nearly came to blows demanding that they should be allowed to use the office.

Spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range, Hanumandhoka DSP Dhiraj Pratap Shah said that they had padlocked the office as per the directive of Kathmandu Administration Office.

Both the factions had even staged protests in the area.
