KATHMANDU, June 21: The 11th Higher Education & Career Fair jointly organized by Direction Nepal and JCI kicked off Thursday. Dr Rojnath Pande, Under Secretary at the Ministry of Education inaugurated the event while former Miss Nepal Sugarika KC and Singer Indira Joshi were guests of honor.
The event saw students and parents alike swarming in to learn about higher education options and career counseling. The fair this year is particularly focusing on under graduate students.
“We are focusing more on bachelor´s level students but we do have stalls dedicated solely for SLC graduates too,” informed Pashupati KC of Direction Nepal.
With over 100 stalls and 80 exhibitors, national and international, the expo is set to lure students in till June 24.
The first leg of the expo took place in Pokhara at the FNCCI Exhibition Hall from June 15 to 17. The fair will be held also at Chitwan Higher Secondary School in Narayanghat from June 28 to 30.
The entrance ticket has been priced at Rs 20 per head.
