  Police raid houses of 64 dons in capital

KATHMANDU, June 23: Police have raided 64 houses of dons and goons involved in criminal activities in the capital on Saturday morning.

Houses of those including  Deepak Manange, Baghe Lama, Kumar Ghaite, Sashi Adhikari, Panche Lama, Dinesh Adhikari aka Chari, Dawa Lama and Tejendra Gurung  have been raided

However, police have failed to nab any of them, informed our correspondent KP Dhungana.

The search operation is still ongoing, said Metropolitan Police Spokesman DSP Dhiraj Pratap Singh.

This is the first such raid launched ever to nab criminals. All the above notorious goons are involved in criminal activities in and outside the capital
