LAHAN, July 1: A person has been abducted in Lahan on Saturday night. The abductee has been identified as Chandra Yadav of Panvari, Siraha.
According to Siraha police chief Rajesh Lal Karna, Yadav has been kidnapped by a group led by Taiyab Miyan of Mahuli, Saptari. The culprits kidnapped Yadav to avenge his eloping with Miyan´s wife two month ago, Karna said.
The abductors had called up Yadav and asked him to come to Lahan on pretext of some works and took him away on a jeep, police informed. A police team has been sent to Mahuli to nab Miyan, Karna said.
Earlier, an insurance officer who had been kidnapped from Lahan some three weeks ago, is still in abductors´ clutches. Police has been trying to track down the kidnappers.
