RACHANA BHANDARI

KATHMANDU, July 10: Wondering what to wear to a party tonight or an executive meeting?

One place that can address your problems is Tex World at New Baneshwar - a place that has a wide collection of saris and suits. And in case you get confused by the symphony of colors and designs just call a stylist and the person will recommend you the best wear for you.

In Tex World´s book, clothes are personality enhancers, according to Mohan Gautam, manager of Tex World -- the authorized dealer of West Tex Trading Company Limited´s saris. “Since different people have different personalities, what looks good on one person may not suit another,” he continued. “That´s why Tex World firmly believes style is individual, not universal.”

To ensure customers get quality products, Tex World has imported different kind of fabric, including pure wool and tweeds, from all over the world. These are available in different colors, designs, textures and weaves. Major branded collections at Tex World are Hugo Boss, Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani and Gucci, among others.

“Our stylists and designers will help you find the best, whether it be in color, texture or style,” Gautam said, claiming, “We can make the wearer look thinner or taller or even broader at shoulders.”

One of the biggest attractions of the store is sari. Most of these products are imported from Japan, although stitching is done locally. Price? They range from Rs 2,500 to Rs 11,000.

For men - of course there are suits. And the fabrics are imported from Italy and England. It will cost you Rs 7,000 to Rs 40,000 to stitch these fabrics into suits.

“One of our advantages is that we have mid-range to high-end products, so no one has to return back empty-handed,” Gautam said, adding the store also sells party-wear sandals for ladies.

Tex World also has outlets in Putalisadak, Maharajgunj, Balaju, Lalitpur, Sunsari, Pokhara and Chitwan.
