In the writ filed by advocate Bhoj Bahadur KC, a demand has been made to the apex court to issue an order in the name of the Government to immediately bring a law through ordinance to ban bandhs in the country.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Law and Justice have been named as defendants in the writ.
