KATHMANDU, July 12: Regular classes of the 60 constituent campuses and four research centers of the Tribhuvan University have been halted due to the strike organized by Tribhuvan University Teachers’ Association (TUTA), on Thursday.
Starting from today, the TUTA has called two-day strike at TU, the country’s oldest and largest university, to press the government to provide them hiked salary and uniform allowances.
The teachers’ body has also warned of launching further protest if their demands were not met.
