KATHMANDU, July 14: A Maoist leader who had defected UCPN (Maoist) to join CPN-Maoist led by Mohan Baidya, rejoined the mother party on Saturday alleging that the new party failed to give concrete reasons to justify the split.
A central committee member of CPN-Maoist Krishna Rai announced his decision to rejoin the mother party amidst a press conference organized at the Maoist party headquarters in Sanepa.
"The new party has ignored all the agendas of people in the name of revolt. So, I have decided to rejoin mother party," Rai said. He had joined the UCPN (Maoist) after quitting Janabadi Morcha led by Ramraja Prasad Singh.
