ITAHARI, July 17: It is not a new thing to reward people for their contribution in various sectors of society. But in Itahari sons, daughter-in-laws and even grand children have been recognized and rewarded for providing good care to their parents, in-laws or grand parents .
Durga Bista of Itahari initiated this idea a month ago. He established a revolving fund in the name of his parents and conferred Rs 10,000 cash prize to a couple for providing good care to their parents in Sunsari district.
Now others have joined Bista to offer such rewards by creating their own funds.
