  Koshi River floods inundates Gobargadha

RAJBIRAJ, July 21: More than one dozen houses have been inundated when floods entered the Gobargadha VDC with the increasing flow of water in Saptakoshi River.

The floods entered the VDC Thursday evening with the sudden increase in water level. Houses of Mishrilal Sada, Sakaldev Sada, Chhutharu Sada, Sadananda Sada, Bhayalal Sada, Kabitlal Sada, Laxmi Sada, Govind Sada, Chhotakani Sada of Gobargadha- 7 have been completely inundated, said the victims.

All the properties have been completely destroyed and they have difficulty in getting out of house as there is water all around, said Chhutharu Sada.

Likewise, contact of Tilathi, Launia, Sakarpura, Rampura Malhaniya VDCs with Rajbiraj has been broken from road obstruction by Khado River. This is also said to be because of the dam built by Indian side to stop the water flow.
