KATHMANDU, July 21: Leader of CPN-UML KP Oli has said that all political parties should forge consensus to end constitutional and political vacuum in the country.

Inaugurating the ninth convention of CPN-UML Kathmandu Metropolis Ward no-9 on Saturday, leader Oli said there was no alternative to forge consensus among the political parties to give a way out to the present political deadlock.

"Democracy cannot be established through undemocratic ways. Elections to the Constituent Assembly (CA) announced for November 22 is not possible under such circumstances. This announcement is only a drama," the UML leader added.

Leader Oli also ruled out the relevance of the CA´s reinstatement.

During the program, Chairman of CPN-UML Kathmandu district Committee Nirmal Kuinkel and other leaders said that present political crisis should be ended through mutual consensus among the political parties. During the program, 30 cadres of UCPN (Maoist) joined the UML.
