Major parties to resolve current crisis through talks

KATHMANDU, July 25: A meeting of the three major political parties--UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML-- held at the UML headquarters in Balkhu has concluded Wednesday, with the leaders agreeing to end the current political crisis through dialogue.
The meeting agreed to make a fresh start in dealing with issues, including the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections, formation of a national consensus government and remaining disputes of constitution writing, holding further talks among the parties.
UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC President Sushil Koirala, UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, among others, were present in the meeting.
