CHITWAN, July 25: Secretary of the newly formed CPN-M Netra Bikram Chand has demanded that UCPN (M) to make public all the properties amassed during the conflict.
Addressing a press conference in Chitwan, he maintained that the properties collected during the conflict should not be transferred to individuals.
In a separate context, Chand stated that they would struggle against "anti-national treaties" including Bilateral Investment Protection Act (BIPA) with India. He said his party would exert pressure on the government for new treaties with India.
Chand termed Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal as "anti-nationalist" stating that both Bhattarai and Dahal hindered peace and constitution writing process.
