KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Agni Incorporated -- the authorized distributor of Demak motorcycles in Nepal - has introduced Demak DTM 150 and DTM 150 Combat in the Nepali market.
According to the company, Demak bikes crafted with Japanese technology and made in Malaysia are extremely durable, attractive and flexible.
“As Demak is already an established brand in the Nepali market, we are hopeful that the two new bikes will create a buzz here,” Bardan Basnet, general manager of Vehicle Sales Department at Agni Incorporated, said. “When we introduced Demak DXM-R, its demand increased to such extent that we faced difficulty maintaining the stock. We are confident that our customers will like the new off-road bikes.”
The company has identified youngsters who love to explore rough terrains and those who are passionate about riding dirt bikes as the major customers for both the bikes.
The DTM 150 is packed with superior features like single cylinder with four stroke air cooled engine, dynamic silencer, powerful disc brake, digital speedometer and rear disc brake. The bike has telescopic inverted front suspension for better maneuverability and an adjustable air shock rear mono suspension for top class performance. It has digital speedometer, twin piston caliper front disc brake with steel braided hose for better stopping power and single piston caliper rear disc brake for more durability.
With sporty design muffler, the bike weighs 127 kg and has both electric and kick start options. The DTM 150 is available in different color options such has white, orange and black.
Agni Incorporated provides warranty for travel up to 20,000 km and free servicing for eight times. The bike is priced at Rs 375,000.
Similarly, DTM 150 Combat has a single cylinder, four stroke air-cooled 150cc engine with both kick and electric start options. It is equipped with front and rear drum braking system and a fuel tank with capacity of 13.9 liters.
According to the company, the Demak Combat boasts of vintage muscular looks and robust advance technology that helps the riders travel easily in toughest roads. The Combat is available in black and army green color. It is available at Rs 275,000. Agni provides one year warranty on engine and free servicing for eight times.
Both the bikes deliver mileage of 30 km per liter, according to the company.
