KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Senior CPN UML leader KP Oli expressed his desire for the prime ministerial post if the Nepali Congress (NC) fails pick its candidate.
Speaking at media interaction program in his residence, Balkot, on Wednesday Oli, however, made it clear he was always in favor of NC to lead national consensus government.
"NC has failed to nominate its PM candidate owing to internal dispute. NC should not disrupt government formation process due to its dispute," Oli said.
"I am ready to lead the government if my party nominates me as the candidate and other parties agree on it," Oli said.
