KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Nepal has gone down seven positions below in the FIFA men´s world ranking published for the month of August on Wednesday.
Nepal has dropped to 162nd position from 155th in July. Nepal however remained steady in second position getting 125 points.
Maldives jumped three spots up to 161st position to occupy the top position among South Asian countries. Meanwhile, the South Asian leader Bangladesh has tumbled 18 positions to 169th.
According to the latest rankings, Afghanistan is in 164th, India 168th, Pakistan 176th, Sri Lanka 179th and Bhutan in 206th place.
