BHAKTAPUR, Aug. 9: The Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) has given affiliation to 169 more plus-two colleges in the country this year.
HSEB member-secretary Bhimlal Gurung said that 127 community schools and 42 private schools were given licenses to run classes for higher secondary level. At present, 3,552 higher secondary schools are running across the country and they have been offering classes in 138 various subjects.
This year, the HSEB has implemented the new curriculums of Music, Justice, Composition and Grammar and has amended the curriculum of Dance, Hotel Management and Journalism.
Similarly, the HSEB is mulling to prepare the new curriculums of Film Studies, Law and Sports Science.
