KATHMANDU, Aug 9: CG Impex, a subsidiary of Chaudhary Group and sole authorized distributor of LG mobile phones and home appliances for Nepal, is all set to open two new outlets on August 13 in Lazimpat and at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Tripureshwor.
With the addition of these outlets, CG Impex, which had opened its first outlet at Minbhawan a decade ago, will have a total of five outlets in Kathmandu. Two other outlets are located in Chabahil and at the Civil Mall.
The new outlet in WTC will exclusively sell LG products ranging from headsets, grinder mixer and mobile phones to refrigerators, washing machines, LCD and LED. The outlet will be spread over an area of around 1,300 sq ft.
"We chose WTC as it records a daily footfall of over 2, 000," said Ramesh Shrestha, general manager of CG Impex. He further added that the company hopes its presence at the mall will further strengthen LG´s brand awareness among consumers.
The new outlet in Lazimpat, on the other hand, is a multi-brand store, where electronic gadgets to home appliances of world-renowned brands will be available under one roof.
Officials of CG Impex said the Lazmipat showroom, spread over an area of around 3,500 sq ft, will showcase different products of LG, Toshiba, Godrej, Rico, Onida, Lenovo and TCL.
"The prices of these products will range from Rs 100 to Rs 4,00,000," CG Impex said, adding, the showroom will create employment opportunities for at least eight people.
Both the outlets, according to CG Impex, will welcome those customers who step in only to get basic information about products.
