REPUBLICA ONLINE

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Various youth organizations affiliated to oppositions parties have organized a Singh Durbar gherao program on Friday morning demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.

They picketed Singha Durbar from 9 am to 11 am as part of the CPN-UML-affiliated Youth Association Nepal’s second phase of protest program.

Various youth organizations affiliated to different opposition parties, expressing their solidarity, participated in the program echoing the demand.

They had also threatened to obstruct the movement of government vehicles during the period.

The protest program has completely paralyzed the traffic and movement of people in and around the Singha Durbar area.
