KATHMANDU, Aug 10: The latest row in Nepali Congress (NC) affiliated Nepal Students´ Union has ended after the establishment and rival NSU faction agreed to announce new date for general convention after settling demands put forth by the rival faction.
The rival NSU faction close to Sher Bahadur Deuba had announced a parallel general convention date after the establishment faction of NSU ´unilaterally´ announced general convention date without settling their demands.
The agreement between the two sides was reached at the initiatives of party´s student department chief Nabindra Raj Joshi.
"We are formally announcing the agreement reached between us through a press conference on Sunday," said Rishikesh Jung Shah, who is leader of rival faction of NSU.
