KATHMANDU, Aug. 14: The government is to provide updated information about the requirements to acquire a license for running a business or trade in the country through website.

Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai is scheduled to unveil amidst a program on Wednesday the new portal established at the initiative of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

All information concerning the operation of a business in the country including the license, recommendation, certification and registration would be available on the portal, according to Spokesperson at the Office, Jagdish Regmi.
The portal is expected to help attract foreign investment into the country. It will run in both Nepali and English languages.

The interested can also download the business license form and look up the site maps of the bodies issuing the license and monitoring the business.
