Students disrupt classes in engineering college

REPUBLICA

JANAKPUR, Aug 15: Engineering students of Central Engineering College in Janakpur disrupted classes on Thursday demanding recruitment of competent teachers in the college within three days.

According to the agitating students, the college is not abiding by the rules of engineering council.

Students also accused the college administration of not providing scholarship even to deserving candidates. The students have also demanded that the college administration upgrade lab equipment.

Administrator of the college Vijaya Jha, however, claimed that the students had been raising unnecessary and irrelevant issues.
