  Students seek people's view on govt

KATHMANDU, Aug. 16: A voting took place across the country today to seek people´s view about the present government.

In the voting organized by seventeen different students´ associations, all those interested were asked to vote either for or against the government.

Voting took place in a total of 110 voting centres set up by the students union in various parts of the country including in Kathmandu.

The organizers include the ANNFSU, NSU, Nepal Tarun Dal, Youth Association Nepal and others.

In Kathmandu, the voting took place at the Biswabhasha Campus, Ratna Park, Maharajgunj, Kalanki and Chabahil.

The ballot will be collected today and the counting shall begin tomorrow, NSU spokesperson Yupi Lamichane said.

The results of the voting will be handed over to the President amidst a programme on coming August 19, he said
