Alliance to pressurize for consensus: Gajurel

RSS

BARDIBAS, Aug 17: UCPN (Maoist) leader Haribol Gajurel has said the formation of the Federal Democratic Republican Alliance (FDRA) has developed a new possibility in Nepali politics.

Gajurel, who arrived at Jaleswor, the district headquarters of Mahottari for party works Friday morning, at a press conference said that the formation of the front has clearly demarcated those favoring federalism with identity and those not and help increase pressure for result-orientated consensus.

Stating that his party was insulted when they trusted the CPN-UML and Nepali Congress on party integration in the past, Gajurel said there will be no talks and consensus unless there is clear result in sight.

Also the buro in-charge of the party for Madhes, Gajurel said the talks and consensus should guarantee constitution making and not only make change of government.
