KATHMANDU, Aug. 21: Relatives of Tara Kumari Sharma, 28, demonstrated at the Thapathali Maternity Hospital on Tuesday, alleging recklessness on part of the doctors at the hospital leading to her death during operation for child birth.
Sharma hailing from Solukhumbu and admitted in the Hospital two days ago died in course of giving birth to a child.
However, the child is normal, said Hospital Director Shila Barma, adding, "Sharma died due to lung-related problems."
The Hospital remained tensed due to the protest. The relatives of the dead have demanded compensation from the Hospital
