KATHMANDU, Aug. 23: The Unified CPN (Maoist) has decided to take initiatives to forward the army integration process that has been disrupted for long.

The UCPN-Maoist meeting that included senior commanders of the former PLA held at the party´s central office, Parisdanda had taken the decision.

UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Prime Minister and Vice-Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and office bearers´ meeting decided to forward the integration process within a day or two, said former spokesperson of PLA Chandra Prakash Khanal.

Similarly, the meeting also held discussions on how the former PLA, who opted for voluntary retirement, be managed.
