KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Chairman of newly formed CPN-Maoist Mohan Baidya has said both the President and the Prime Minister have no legitimacy in the present situation when the nation is running without parliament.
Opening a two-day painting workshop organised by the All Nepal Fine Arts Association on Saturday, leader Baidya said an inter-conflict regarding the rights and duties of the President and the PM has pushed the country towards uncertainty.
"At present, only judiciary, the Nepal Army and the Nepal Policy have legitimacy ," he said.
Stating that the country has entered into the political and constitutional vacuum, CPN-Maoist Chairman Baidya claimed that reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly or holding fresh elections could not give a way out to the nation from the present crisis.
"Only all-party roundtable conference is the best solution to the present political and constitution stalemate," Baidya said.
