TANAHUN, Aug 26: A woman who killed her newly-born baby from an illicit relation has been arrested here in the district on Saturday.
Balkumari Nepali, 28, of Kotdurbar who had given birth to a baby boy five days ago, had buried the infant in a nearby jungle, informed police.
The locals had caught her red-handed while she was burying the infant.
Acting on a complaint filed by a local Kamala BK, police arrested the mother, said Len Pratap Sen, police inspector at the district police office, Tanahun.
