  Petition against immunization campaign

REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: A writ petition was filed at the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday urging to issue an order to stop the ongoing immunization campaign against various diseases.

Advocate Dal Bahadur Dhami filed the petition on Tuesday arguing that immunization drive should continue only after thorough tests of the vaccines.

Four infants died in Doti last week within 24 hours after receiving vaccines against various diseases from district health office.

Three of the infants had been given anti-measles shot, while one was administered DPT vaccine.
