KATHMANDU, Aug 30: International Money Express (IME) on Thursday announced the names of its best performing 10 agents, declaring that they will be sent to six-day long Malaysia trip as a part of its agent motivation program. The company had unveiled the motivation package when it celebrated 12th anniversary on June 11, 2012.

Suman Pokharel, CEO of IME said that the agents were selected for the trip based on the volume of their transactions and market share in 2010/11 and years of service at IME corporate offices.

He handed over mementoes to those agents. In the Malaysia trip, the agents will observe IME Malaysia office and visit cities like Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru.

Happy Deals trade fair in Oct

KATHMANDU: Happy Deals, an event management company, is organizing Happy Deals Trade Fair 2012 from October 4-8 at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu.

"We will be offering special discounts during the fair," said Khagendra Kandel, managing director of Happy Deals. Only the companies offering the best deals have been allowed to participate in the event, he added.

According to Kandel, there will be 120 stalls of companies dealing in garments, handicraft items, home appliances, cosmetic products, herbal products, books and stationery, furniture, automobiles and jewelry, among others.

The event being organized in coordination with Expo and Event Management services will also feature live concert and entertainment activities, said Kandel. A contest will also be organized on the inaugural day in which customers can participate by sending their SMS to 5005. The winner, who will be picked through a lucky draw, will take home Rs 50,000.

"This event will provide a platform to entrepreneurs to promote their brands," said Kandel.

The organizers expect a footfall of around 150,000 visitors. The entry fee for the fair has been fixed at Rs Rs 50 per visitor.
