KATHMANDU, Sept 2: The price of gold has shot up by Rs 900 per tola (11.664 gm) in the domestic market on Sunday, making it Rs 59,900 per tola.
Gold was traded at Rs 59,000 per tola on Saturday.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 40 per tola. Silver costs Rs 1145 per tola in the domestic market today. Silver was traded at Rs 1105 per tola yesterday.
According to Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers´ Association, the price of gold has increased in the domestic market in line with the increase in price at the international market.
