  PM Bhattarai to visit Jumla today

KATHMANDU, Sept 15; Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai is set to visit Jumla district on Saturday as part of his monthly schedule to spend a night in a village outside Kathmandu.

According to the PM’s aide Biswodeep Pandey, Bhattarai will stay overnight at the house of Man Singh Sarki of the Ranka village in Tatopani VDC-1.

Sarki is the father of a minor, Samjhana Karki, who was allegedly killed by the government force during the conflict in 2005.

PM Bhattarai is also scheduled to hold interactions today with the villagers at the local Ganesh Primary School.

Chief Secretary Leela Mani Paudyal, PM’s personal advisor Ganga Narayan Shrestha, Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Works Tulasi Prasad Sitaula and Secretary of the Agriculture Ministry Ganesh Joshi are accompanying the PM.

Likewise, Janak Raj Shah, a member of National Planning Commission, Mahendra Sapkota, a representative from Poverty Alleviation Fund, and Manarishi Dhital, a member of Press Council are also in the PM´s visiting team.
