TULSIPUR, (Dang), Sept 17: The Tulasipur-Salyan-Rukum section of the Rapti highway is blocked due to landslides triggered by continuous rainfall for some days.
According to the Area Police Office, Tulasipur a big landslide occurred at Lahurechaur in Tulasipur Municipality-1 at 9 p.m. on Sunday, blocking the highway. As a result, passengers have been stranded there.
Police, representatives of the transport entrepreneurs and locals are trying to remove the landslide debris and have also called the Road Division Office, Dang for sending dozers. But since the landslide is massive and it has been raining, it will take some time to clear the road.
