KANCHANPUR, Sept 20: Different teachers´ unions have withdrawn the indefinite educational institutions shutdown that they had called for after the UCPN (Maoist) and the All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union (Revolutionary) agreed to compensate the schools.

The office-bearers of ANNISU-R had vandalized the Florida Higher Secondary School and the Prabhat Vidya Niketan school four days back for refusing to give them money as donation.

The decision comes after the representatives of the UCPN (Maoist) and the ANNISU-R offered apology and agreed to provide compensation to the school damaged by their cadres at an all-party meeting organized at the District Administration Office here on Wednesday.

The teachers unions had shutdown the educational institutions since Monday calling for action against those involved in vandalism.
